Siri spent the 1980s doing plays (and odd-jobs!) in New York City. When she had children, she left theater and turned to storytelling. She is now a member of the Story Circle of the Capital District, a guild of storytellers who tell stories around the region and occasionally here at the Fort Salem Theater Cabaret. After moving to Salem, Siri re-entered theater life. She wrote and directed a local history show, joined the Footlighters community theater group, and was in Fort Salem Theater’s production of The Savannah Disputation (Margaret). Siri would like to say how delightful it is to work with Kyle and Jared, and the inspiring and beautiful young people in Grease.

Francesco is thrilled to return toFort Salem Theater, having recently appeared in Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour). He returns to his Upstate NY roots from Denver Colorado. Favorite roles include; Tom Collins (Rent), Benny (In The Heights), Mister Black (Wild Party), Edna (Hairspray), Melchior (Spring Awakening), & Gabe (Next To Normal). He would like to thank the production team for this opportunity, the cast, his family, and all of his friends for the endless support. HE/HIM Noah Casner holds a BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute and the Experimental Theatre Wing. A Saratoga Springs native, he’s always thrilled to make the beautiful drive out to Salem to work with such a wonderful crew of people. On the Fort Salem stage he’s been a part of Next to Normal (Gabe) and There’s No Business Like Snow Business. Additional favorite credits include Spring Awakening (Moritz), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfeé), and Parade (Frankie/Young Soldier). In addition, he has participated in the development of a number of premieres and new works. Noah also works for Saratoga Children’s Theatre, a non-profit whose goal is to bring arts education to a wide range of students throughout the Capital Region and beyond.

HE/HIM | Dan is a performer, musician, educator and small-business owner living in Cambridge, NY. He recently appeared at Fort Salem Theater as Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors. Upstate audiences may also have seen him at Capital Rep, NYS Theatre Institute, and Park Playhouse. He earned his BFA in Acting from Syracuse University, where his original theatrical song cycle, "Songs For Now..." starred Jessie Mueller. Dan is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of Yo Re Mi, a musical yoga program for children (www.yoremikids.com). In 2020 Dan created the New York Times-recommended play The Forest of Feelings, a collaboration between Yo Re Mi and New York City Children's Theater. Declan recently completed his freshman year at Salem Central School, where he is a multi-sport athlete who recently performed in the Salem Central Drama Club’s production of The Sound of Music (Max). Last summer, Declan appeared on the Fort Salem Theater stage in Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr. as the “Circulation” soloist.

Quinn is currently a Senior at Salem Central School. He participates in his School Band and Chorus, as well as Drama Club, and is a three season athlete. In his free time, he enjoys learning and playing instruments, traveling, and building with Lego. His past performances include The Wizard of Oz (Tin Man), Peter Pan (Lost Boy), Othello (Iago), Little Shop of Horrors (Seymour), SchoolHouse Rock (Tom Mizer), The Diary of Anne Frank (Peter Van Daan), and The Sound of Music (Captain Von Trapp). Quinn has lived in Salem for 13 years and is very excited to be a part of another FST production. Quinn is attending Middlebury College next year, where he hopes to be heavily involved in their drama and arts programs.

HE/HIM | A Salem native, this is Ethan's third show at Fort Salem Theater this season and his fifth overall! Getting most of his theatre background from school, and different cabaret shows around the Upstate New York area. Some of his theatre work includes; Annie (Rooster Hannigan), Shrek: The Musical (Lord Farquaad), Lil' Abner (Police Officer & Stage Manager), The Little Shop of Horrors (Mushnik) and Pride And Prejudice (Mary Bennett/ Mr. Bingley). He hopes to continue his acting and theatre career and hopefully branch out to all works of entertainment!

SHE/HER | Erika is beyond excited to be making her Fort Salem Theater debut! She recently graduated from Russell Sage College with a BA in musical theater and a minor in dance. She’s thrilled to be able to perform on stage again and in person since Covid. Erika currently played a Lady in Waiting - Maureen in The Rockin’ Tale of Snow White with Malta Spotlighters Theater Troupe. Her other recent credits include: The Wolves (#2) TIS, A Christmas Carol (Fan) TIS, Oliver! (Ensemble) TIS and Sleepy Hollow (Ensemble) TIS. In addition to performing, she enjoys working with younger children in theater and did her college internship with the Columbia County Youth Theater last summer! She is still trying to decide what she would like to do but hopes to be able to work with kids again in the future. Lastly, she would like to thank her friends and family for always supporting her!

Gideon is a NYC based freelance Actor/Singer/Guitarist. Gideon has been seen most recently American Idiot (Johnny), Grease (Doody), in Bright Star (Jimmy Ray Dobbs), Spring Awakening (Moritz), West Side Story (Tony), Next To Normal (Gabe), Greece-Staged Reading (Orpheus), Les Miserables (Jean Valjean), and in Hope In The Heartland-Original Cast (Norman). HE/HIM Socrates is a freshman at Salem Central High School. He has appeared three times on the Salem School Stage in Sound of Music (Admiral VonSchriber), Little Shop of Horrors (ensemble), and The Magic Treehouse (Jack). Last summer he performed in Schoolhouse Rock Live (ensemble) at the Fort Salem Theater as part of the Summer Theater Camp. He is a member of the golf team, track team, chorus, film club and drama club. In the future he would like to become a screenwriter.

SHE/HER | Lucy graduated from The University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science majoring in statistics. Lucy graduated from Salem Central School where she appeared in Annie (Ms. Hannigan) and Shrek (Dragon). She also performed in West Side Story (Velma) with Broadway Upstate and L’elisir d’amore (Ensemble) at Hubbard Hall.

SHE/HER | Lily is an environmental studies major at Franklin and Marshall College. In college, she is a member of the music honor society Mu Epsilon Sigma. As a Salem native, she performed in multiple shows in high school, including Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Shrek the Musical (Teen Fiona, Blind Mouse), and Annie (Molly). Lily has also appeared in shows at the Dorset Playhouse in Vermont, such as Oklahoma! (Aggie) and Snow White (Snow White). She’s very excited about making her Fort Salem debut in Grease.

SHE/HER | Emily is thrilled to be making her Fort Salem Theater debut! She is a proud graduate of the University at Albany where she studied theatre with a minor in fine arts. She was last seen playing Meg in Little Women. Other performance credits include HAIR (Sheila), A Doll’s House (Mrs. Linde), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), Shrek: The Musical (Mama Ogre). In NYC, she performed in Manhattan Concert Production’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat 50th Anniversary Concert at Lincoln Center. Next, you can find her playing Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda this fall in Hudson. She would like to thank everyone at FST for this wonderful experience. Shout out to her best friends, parents and fur baby, Stella, for their constant love and support.

Mary Kate is so excited to have Grease as her Fort Salem Theater debut! She is a junior at Salem Central High School. Being part of the Salem Drama Club she has been seen in The Sound of Music (Mother Abbess), Shrek: The Musical (Ensemble) and a stage manager for Little Shop of Horrors. Mary Kate is a member of the field hockey, basketball and track teams as well as band and chorus. She has recently started the teen jazz class at the Fort Salem Studio where she enjoys dancing with the other “Suzettes.”

HE/HIM | Luke is a freshman at Salem Central School and intends on pursuing a degree in music and performing arts. Luke has previously performed in The Sound of Music (Rolf Gruber), School House Rock Live JR (Bill & Interplanet Janet), Diary of Anne Frank (Collaborator), Little Shop of Horrors (Reporter), and Shrek the Musical (Peter Pan). He is also involved in Jazz Dance, Jazz Band, Chorus and Drama Club.

Michael lives in Albany, NY and works as an Esthetician/Acne Specialist at Grit & Grace salon in Latham. He is excited to make his return to the stage in Grease after a 6 year hiatus! Favorite past roles include; RENT (Roger), Into the Woods (The Baker), and Ordinary Days (Warren)! Huge thanks to Kyle, Susi, John and the rest of the creative team!

SHE/HER | Tessa is a rising junior BFA Musical Theater Major at Nazareth College. After making her mainstage debut at Nazareth in Into the Woods (Narrator), Tessa is thrilled to make yet another debut at Fort Salem Theater! After checking a life-long dream role off the bucket list, Tessa is headed to NYC for a musical theater intensive with the Open Jar Institute. SHE/HER | Peyton has been performing for over a decade in many Cabaret shows, plays, and musicals in the Albany area, including Footloose (Vi Moore), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Ms. Flannery), Sister Act (Featured Nun/Dancer), My Fair Lady (Lady Boxington), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Napkin), Fiddler on the Roof (Yente), amongst various others. She currently studies Tap and Jazz under Freddy Ramirez, and recently made her professional debut as choreographer and assistant director at Ravena Coeymans Selkirk High School’s 2022 production of Disney’s Newsies. She is excited to be in the ensemble for Grease at Fort Salem Theater, and is grateful for the opportunity to understudy Marty. Peyton can also be seen in Into the Woods (Ensemble) this Summer at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, as part of their Summer Educational Program. She hopes to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre and continue performing as a career.

SHE/HER | Jenna is thrilled to be performing at the Fort Salem Theater once again after making her Salem debut in The Marvelous Wonderettes (Missy). Jenna currently attends Russell Sage College where she studies Criminal Justice, Law, and Behavioral Science as part of the honors program, and holds minors in Psychology and Women's Studies. At Sage, she is also a Resident Assistant, a campus tour guide, her class treasurer, and is a founding member of Sage's plant club: Plant Parenthood. In her spare time, Jenna has been seen onstage in Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Olive), Heathers (Veronica), and Calvin Berger (Rosanna), among others. She would like to thank her plant children for being a supportive audience when she practiced for hours and hopes you enjoy the show as much as they did!

Regan is thrilled to be making her Fort Salem debut! Previous credits include The Little Mermaid (Ariel), Spring Awakening (Wendla Bergmann), The Wedding Singer (Julia Sullivan), as well as the ensembles of Pippin, Big Fish, Carrie, and more. Regan has performed with SLOC, Homemade Theater, Troy Civic Theatre, and other local community groups as well as occasionally helping backstage as a stagehand, assistant stage manager, or with hair and makeup. She is ecstatic to be back onstage and would like to thank her production team for giving her this opportunity as well as her friends and family for their endless support.

SHE/THEY | Sarah is a senior BFA Musical Theatre major at SUNY Fredonia. Sarah is an actress, singer, and writer. Previous roles include The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Gargoyle), The Tempest (Juno), Ordinary Days (Jason), Peter and the Starcatcher (Black Stache), The Wolves (u/s soccer mom), and She Kills Monsters (u/s Gabbi). Upcoming projects include Radium Girls (Mrs. Roeder), and a two act play she wrote will be making its debut next spring at Fredonia. After graduation, Sarah plans to make the trek from Buffalo to upstate NY to start her life as an artist!

HE/HIM | Kyle has three decades of creating award-winning theatre under his belt, working as a producer, director, choreographer, designer, and performer. His work has been seen all across the US, from Cape Cod, to Boston, Arizona and Dallas, to New York and has been recognized by the AriZoni Awards of Excellence, BroadwayWorld Awards, Column Awards, Annie Award, MET Awards, and MHSDG Awards, among others.

At Fort Salem Theater, he has directed and choreographed Salem Under The Stars, The Marvelous Wonderettes, Next to Normal, and There’s No Business Like Snow Business. Most recently, Kyle was the costume and properties designer for FST’s Pride & Prejudice.

Kyle is humbled to be the executive and artistic director of Fort Salem Theater as well as the president of the Salem NY Area Chamber of Commerce.

HE/HIM | John Norine, Jr: John is an award-winning Music Director and Technical Designer who hails from Utica, NY. He attended the Crane School of Music, graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree in Musical Studies before moving to the University of North Texas, where he earned both a Master’s degree and Doctorate of Musical Arts in Music Performance (Orchestral Conducting). Since 2005, he has been fortunate to work with many of the educational, community, and regional theaters in the Dallas/Fort Worth area in both a musical and technical role.

When the Fort Salem Theater reopened in 2021, John was honored to be asked to work as a guest artist, music directing the first shows under the new ownership as well as working as technical director and designer for several productions. In April of 2022, John was named one of the inaugural Artistic Associates for Fort Salem Theater.

Most recently, John worked as Music Director, Technical Director, and Light Designer for Fort Salem Theater's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Light/Sound Designer for Steel Magnolias, and Pride and Prejudice (Light Design).

When John isn’t in New York, he resides in Denton, TX with his wife Olivia and their two conductor kitties, Lenny and Leopold.

SHE/HER | Susi made her professional debut at the age of 12 at Ashcroft Theater in the UK. She then went on to earn her BA in Dance from the University of Surrey, where she worked as a professional dancer and choreographer. Later, Susi set up her own Dance and Theatre company, Charlie's Works, in London and was always kept busy with product launches, fashion shows and reviews for renowned companies such as Tommy Hilfiger and British Airways. Since her arrival in the States she has choreographed and produced shows for the likes of Adirondack Childrens Troupe, Salem Central School, Salem Courthouse, Fort Salem Theater, Queensbury High School, Long Trail School (Dorset Vermont) and Broadway Upstate (Glens Falls, NY).

In Salem, Susi is an active member of the Chamber of Commerce, an owner of the upcoming Jacko’s Corner, and creator of The Susi Shoes Dancers, who are made up of a diverse crowd of enthusiasts who dance and perform for community events, whose goal is to touch the lives of young people and to get shoes and any necessary items gently and gracefully on the right hands and feet, and to always ensure that youth who cross their path stand tall with confidence and pride.

SHE/HER | Abigail attends Cazenovia College as an Interior Design major with a minor in Theatre and she will be entering her senior year this coming fall semester. Abigail has always had a passion for theatre and wants to pursue a full time career in the arts in the future. She participated in her high school drama club for four years and continued acting through college. Some of her favorite onstage appearances include How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying (Ensemble), Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Ensemble), The Little Mermaid (Ensemble), You Can't Take It With You (Miriam Kirby), Seussical: The Musical (Wickersham I), The Rocky Horror Show (Transylvanian), a virtual production of She Kills Monsters (Lilith Morningstar/Lilly), and the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Vice Principal Doris Panch). Abigail is excited to be working with the Fort Salem Theater for the first time as a creative team member and she is thankful for everything that she has learned along the way!

SHE/HER | Courtnie was last seen at Fort Salem Theater in Pride & Prejudice (Lizzy) and The Diary of Anne Frank (Edith Frank), There’s No Business Like Snow Business, Little Shop of Horrors, and was named an Artistic Associate of Fort Salem Theater in April of 2022. She was also recently in Songs for a New World (Woman 2) at Schenectady Light Opera Company. Courtnie is a Greenwich Central School alumni who completed training at a NYC conservatory in 2019. During her time in NYC, Courtnie was the hair designer on Hudson Classical Theater’s productions of Pride and Prejudice (Lydia Bennet) and Sense and Sensibility (Charlotte Palmer). Before that, Courtnie was seen in the Capital District as Ariel in The Little Mermaid with Family Players of NENY and the Hope Cladwell u/s in Urinetown at SLOC. Courtnie will be returning to the FST stage as Marcy in I Love You, Because this November, and will be making her directorial debut in December with There’s No Business Like Snow Business. Charles is a well-rounded artist who dabbles in creative writing, HDR photography, graphic design, improvisational piano, original song composition, building fun things and scenic design for theater. While attending Southern Vermont College 2001-2005 he worked summers at Old Castle Theater in Bennington, VT (2000 to 2005) where he learned, by observation, volumes on the art of stagecraft and theatrical techniques and best practices. As a stage director, Charles directed Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus in 2004 at his then-former High School, and The Glass Menagerie at Southern Vermont College in 2009. Charles has over eight years of experience designing set, artistic/stage directing, assistant directing and serving as a theatrical creative-solutions consultant (for a local high school drama club). Shows he has designed include Pride & Prejudice, The Diary of Anne Frank (now twice 2007 and 2021) Once Upon a Mattress, Rumors, The Importance of Being Earnest, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Twelve Angry Jurors, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, And Then There Were None, The Sound of Music, Noises Off, Shrek the Musical, and The Mousetrap. He feels truly thankful and honored to design for Fort Salem Theater after taking some time away from theatrical design and is looking forward to contributing more in the near future.
