Salem Art Works
Salem Art Works sprawls an impressive 119.4 acres, hosting a rotating roster of sculptures by regional, national, and international artists throughout the Cary Hill Sculpture Park. The park is an active vignette promoting a wide array of performances, events, and exhibitions. The park is open from dawn to dusk.
Salem Courthouse Community Center
Built in 1869, the Courthouse used to be the Washington County seat and jail. Now, the Courthouse is a community center. Artists show their work in the 80-foot great hall, and chamber music is played upstairs in the courtroom, where world-renowned musicians perform concerts.
The Georgi Park and Museum
The Georgi park boasts acres of gardens nestled against the famous Battenkill. The Museum presents items from the private collection of Jessie Georgi, who left the building and art to the town of Salem in order to connect the residents to education, creativity, knowledge, and ideas.
